There are three supermarkets within a five minute drive of the apartment. Along with several bakeries/patisseries in the locality for you to purchase freshly made croissants, pain and a range of breads and cakes.

All utilities are included in the cost of the apartment during the summer months, off season additional heating charge.  All towels and bed linen provided mid  stay change of bedding on 2 week plus stays. 

Activities

Maps and advice can be given for those wishing to do some cycling, most routes are circular and average 3-4 hours. It may be possible to join the local cyclotourisme club ride as a guest. The club rides three times a week.

For those wishing to explore the area on foot there is a range of walking maps provided with walks from an hour and half to 3-4 hours. They cater for all standards of walker and will enable you to see some of the beautiful valleys and Bastide towns that this area is famous for. The pretty village of Pujols is a fifteen minute walk from our apartment up a steep hill through part of the grand route nationale. It is small and compact and built on a ridge with amazing views of Villeneuve Sur Lot and the Vallee de Mail. Budding artists will find plenty of vistas to paint.

July and August offer art exhibitions, antiques and a Sunday morning market, take a coffee and people watch or taste the cheeses and cold meats from the stall holders.Night markets offering freshly cooked farmers produce are held all through July and August. Pujols is on a Wednesday. Sit at a long trestle table with the locals and enjoy  local wines and foods from foie gras to moules, duck breast to organic lamb or just a salad. A great way to improve your French as you try to understand the local accent!
